After the resounding success of the 33rd edition of eShow 2018, the IFEMA exhibition centre in Madrid will host next 29th and 30th October, the Trade Show and Congress of eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Hosting & Cloud, Social Media and Internet of Things.
Last year, under the motto ‘Madrid Digital Revolution’ 12.254 professionals, 272 speakers and 121 exhibitors from the digital industry*, gathered to share during the more than 200 organized activities, their knowledge, attract new business opportunities and create synergies between professionals.
According to the latest data from the National Commission of Markets and Competition (CNMC), electronic commerce reached a record of 7.785 million euros (+26.2%), which shows that the digital revolution is driving growth opportunities and expansion in all sectors.
This year eShow has some new features such as a Networking Platform, an intranet designed to connect with a large network of professionals according to the sector and the interests of the attendees.
At the same time, AI Show will be held where professionals and experts in Artificial Intelligence will present the latest news in this sector that is driving the global economy. One of the key issues will be to show how AI, combined with Cloud and BIG Data, can revolutionize a business, since, through the use of these technologies, paradigms unreachable through traditional technologies are being raised nowadays.
In the FastTalks & Digital Innovation Lab, our CEO Oonnagh McNerney will offer on October 29 (17:40-18:00) a presentation on “Workplace 4.0: Boosting the knowledge business in the Digital Age”. In it she will talk about the so-called ‘Knowledge Businesses‘, the knowledge or information base businesses, which can greatly improve their performance by automating routine tasks, to achieve time savings, improve productivity, employee satisfaction and the profitability of the company. By automating all work processes, ‘Data-Driven Company’ can be achieved and applying Artificial Intelligence, facilitating planning, predictions and decision making.
